for those of yu who have cable, and get either channel 101 or 125, you will get a channel called weather scan. This is a channel that constantly plays music, and displays forecast information on the screen and radar info. This music is different from that of the actual weather channel local on the eights music. I've had a friend record some of the music off of the tv because I like this music. I would like to know if there is anywhere to actually obtain this music.
Now, if you do a google you might find the weather channel play lists. However these play lists are only for the local on the eights. Although some of the tunes played on weather scan are also played on the local on the eights and I can't tell if they are just machine generated tunes or if they are actually played by real people. If anyone knows where i could possibly find these songs let me know or post here or else I'll just have to keep recording off the tv which probably isn't the best way to do it. However, it is possible that the playlists on the weather channel page include some of these tunes, however I can't sample these songs to find out.
I'm also looking for the intro tuens to major news ancor stations around here such as ABC and NBC and PBS
